ABOUT CUSTOM TATTOOS
I do focus on animals and nature but I greatly enjoy expanding to other areas! I am open to more styles and things to tattoo. I enjoy traditional, anime, lettering, illustration in general, thick lines, black saturation and I can go on. I included some examples on the photos above.
So send me your ideas!
Here is what I do not enjoy working on: Lions, wolves and some other furry animals in a "realism" style. I also prefer not to work on ribs. Read more about this on FAQ #7.
Color and cover-ups are very subjective and require a full conversation so let's chat about it.
02
ON FINE LINING
Please note that if you choose a fine line tattoo, it is prone to lighten over time and fade a lot more than thicker lines. This is a big part to consider when choosing to get a fine-line tattoo, as touch-ups are not included on them. If you do need a touch up, I usually recommend to wait until you come in for another piece and then I can touch it up with no extra cost.
03
ON FADING
There is no way to stop a tattoo from fading. Just like your skin, tattoos do age as well over time. Fading is just a fact you need to accept from the get go. Most tattoo inks will fade over time but will never fade away completely. In time inevitably, the edges of the tattoo usually become less defined as time passes.
Friction = fading. So placement is an important thing to consider. Especially on hands and feet.
04
WHAT TO EXPECT
A run down of your tattoo day: Appointments take time because we are finally able to meet in person and talk about design and placement. This back-and-forth conversation sometimes requires me to re-draw, re-print and re-shape my whole plan, so waiting is part of the process. After you are the happiest with the design, we will start the session by placing the stencil (this is when the hourly rate starts to count on big pieces). Once you are satisfied with placement, i’ll start working! During your session, you can take water or bathroom breaks, just let me know.
05
ABOUT TIPPING
20% is industry standard. Tipping is not required - it is just customary in the service industry and always greatly appreciated.
Here's why: Tattooers pay rent or a percentage of each tattoo cost to the studio (30-60%).
Aside from rent, we pay for disposable supplies that must be changed after each tattoo. Also, needles, inks, machines and their maintenance. Plus time spent drawing and designing outside of your appointment. Plus we run a business - insurance, taxes, advertisement etc-.
We know sometimes tips are controversial because a tattoo is already expensive enough, but think about the permanence of your new tattoo next to paying other expensive monthly services like hair care.
If your budget is limited, let me know. Also we will always try to have events like Flash Days were we offer big discounts on our work.
06
ABOUT RESCHEDULING
I’m flexible! We can reschedule with at least 36 hours notice prior to your appointment. No-shows will not have a chance to schedule with me again. If you’re running late, just send me a text!

KEEP IN MIND
Hands-fingers-, feet, ribs, inner biceps, some neck areas, elbows or knees are complicated areas to work on because the skin is thinner and/or has more friction or bend than other parts; therefore, ink enters in a different way and may have higher pricing. This is just something to be mindful of for your tattoo. Make sure to talk to me more about this on the day of your appointment.
